I'd like to send out an invite to all my friends who are attending 

Comic-Con or are in the San Diego area to experience ArtExpo SD. 

I am honored to announce that tonight, Thursday, July 24th 2014, my new video artwork titled CWTV: Double Feature will premiere before a talk with Pasadena illustrator Mark Todd at the ArtExpo SD. 

Kicking off at 5:30, SDX (formerly the San Diego Ad Club), presents a mini ArtExpo showcase premiering the new film short by Houston fine artist JooYoung Choi and SuperHero inspired talk by Pasadena fine artist Mark Todd (above).

This event was created by the students of the Media Design School of Digital Arts at the New School of Architecture and Design. 

Accomplished graphic designer, curator and artist Mark Murphy has organized a two floor show that brings together an eclectic exhibition of work by fine/commercial artists, and D.I.Y. creatives. 

Mark is passionate about visual art, and he has dedicated his time an energy to bring artists together, through both his book design firm Murphy Design, as well as his exhibitions.

Although I am still here in Houston, from what I have read, and Mark has shared with me, I feel that the show has been curated in a manner similar to a well executed painting: it is thoughtful, playful, creative and visually rewarding. 

The show consists of works from  over 150 artists, among them will be pieces from artists such as Esther Pearl Watson, Mark Todd, Cathie Bleck, Bonnie Marie Smith, Richard Downs, Irene Hardwicke Olivieri, Kevin Paulsen, The Juggling Klines, Marco Zamora, Elizabeth Winnel,Tim Mantoani, Marc Burckhardt, Brendan Danielsson, P-Jay Fidler, John Purlia, Sean Brannan and myself, JooYoung Choi.
